Mix of apple cider, vinegar, hot water and few drops of baby oil will serve you as one of the bast polishing liquids. Make sure to have the right consistency which is one cup of vinegar on one gallon of hot water and few drops of baby oil. Spray it on the floor and give it a nice rub it with microfiber mop to make it shiny.

Removing Glue and Gum Off

Having kids around makes your cleaning experience twice harder and unpredictable. You may find gum, glue or any other adhesive materials on your hardwood floors, cabinets or other pieces of furniture.

  1. Get a piece of ice cube out of the freezer and hold it against the gum until it freezes.
